conscious company: redesigned

After wrapping up Issue 22 of Conscious Company, I started mapping out a subtle redesign of the print magazine, starting with Issue 23: The Purpose Issue. On the agenda:

  • more white space

  • consistent headline/dek font (similar to logo font)

  • instead of varying fonts, play more with font color

  • higher photography standards

  • new body font

With the design expertise of Conscious Company Art Director Cia Lindgren, this gorgeous vision came to life, with Simon Sinek on the cover, no less! I absolutely love the way this issue turned out. Props to Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Editor in Chief Kate Meyers, whose design eye (and magazine redesign back in January 2016) inspired this new look. Below is a quick sneak peek, and then you can flip through the entirety of Issue 23.
